Lamps
#1 I realize that watercolor on line paper is not a good idea, but it feels like I’m breaking rules nahaha and that’s exciting #2 It looks super cool on my lamp, except it’s not my lamp and I glue stick-ed it on so I hope it comes off at the end of the year. :)

clientsfromhell: After having delivered an eCommerce site to a client, he called me on the phone, explaining that he had experienced some problems ordering products. While on the phone, I explained to him that I would do a test order to see if I could reconstruct the problem he experienced. The ordering went fine, but suddenly he says Client: “Wow, I got an order from you here. You want that...

treebranches: I love Laemmle’s as easily as I love the Landmark (and they are so different). As for ‘An Education’, I liked the places it let me go and the things it let me feel and the girl I got to experience it through, all while sat in that lovely black pillbox of a theater. and I loved the clothes. A good way to spend a sunday. weekend matinee. Girl I am so jealous :)

I remember the good old days in Ms. Foster’s class (HAH!), when we read Fahrenheit 451. A good book, yet slightly (or extremely…) frightening. Ray Bradbury wrote it approximately fifty years ago and it scares me how he predicted bits and pieces of the...

7th grade
When I was in the seventh grade I learned that according to MLA, you write out all numbers until 12- then you can use the numbers. Something like that. Also, my English teacher who taught me that told our class that the first ten ideas that you think of have already been thought of, and then you hit novelty. This is how she explained novelty. I’m on my 29th cereal! Drives me insane that I...

Wednesday, January 23, 2008  Category: Life People will often say that the best way to deal with stage fright is to simply be confident in yourself and know the material you are presenting, whether it be a song, a speech, etc.  FALSE There are numerous ways to deal with stage fright, but confidence is NOT one of them. Very rarely are people successful in life due to excessive amounts of...
